After the double screening in October 2009, Isobel Osmont of the Jersey Evening Post, reported on 30th October that the film:
‘…gives a real grasp of the life and times of the artist. It was well shot with clear and informative narrative, and should be compulsory viewing for all budding artists...’
Rod McLoughlin (Assistant Director, Education, Sports and Leisure) mentioned the profile raising powers of the film in his look back on the cultural highlights of the decade (Jersey Evening Post - 30th December 2009). He went on to add;
‘Maya Hammarsal and Mark Jones are to be congratulated not only on the successful application of the technical skills necessary to realise such a project but also on approaching their subject with such respect and commitment. Their research and enthusiasm for their subject produce a variety of perspectives on Bosdet which are genuinely illuminating.'
